Dead Language is a small brewery and taproom in Hartford, CT. Our goal is to craft exceptional lagers, weissbiers and bold American IPAs and serve as a gathering place for the vibrant Parkville neighborhood. Traditional beer and the culture behind it is not a dying language in Hartford. We love bier-flavored beer.

Hi. We’re Chris & Kyle. Here are some details on visiting Dead Language’s taproom.

We are located on the corner of Park St. & Bartholomew Ave. in Hartford at 1429 Park St.. We have a private entrance and free parking lot accessible on Bartholomew Ave.

Our address is 1429 Park St., Hartford- but our building entrances are on Bartholomew Ave. Free street and lot parking are available on Bartholomew Ave. You can then walk in the main 1429 Park St. entrance - or come in through our direct private entrance at the end of the driveway behind PetrolHead Cafe.

In addition to our exceptional European lagers and American IPAs, we serve Cocktails from BADSONS (Derby) & Drink Mechanics (East Hartford), Elmwood Hard Cider from New Park Brewing (West Hartford), Wine from Worthington Winery (Somers, CT), Underberg Herbal Bitters, Athletic non-alcoholic beer, Guinness 0 non-alcohiloc beer, and various Hosmer Mountain sodas and seltzers.
In addition to being across the street from Parkville Market eatery, we serve various Drunk Alpaca snacks as well as pickles and pickled eggs. On Fridays & Saturdays, we also have fresh baked soft pretzels from Pretzel Haus (West Hartford, CT.)

We are conveniently located across the street from Hartford’s Parkville Market, which offers a wide variety of food options. We welcome you to bring your own food, order-in, or grab food from one of our neighboring establshmens.

Kids are welcome in our taproom up until 7p. Well-behaved and leashed dogs are always welcome. We have a dog area outside for your convenience as well.

We sell 4-pack cans to-go in the taproom. We do not offer crowler or growler fills at this time.
